Do YOUR shorts give your age away?
This summer I've completely changed my preferences with my shorts. I've been wearing short shorts for so many years now, but recently I've wanted more sophisticated looking shorts for every day looks (I'm still keeping my old ones for beach days!)
Saturday, at the J Crew outlets I went crazy with their sale! They have so many options of different size shorts for different preferences! My mother said it was my age & a sign of getting older. What do you guys think? Are you still into short shorts or are you starting to break away from them?

Summer Must Haves
I'm pretty simple when it comes to the summer time! Below are my summer must haves plus a little bit of indulges for the sweet tooth! 1. Mineral foundation leaves my skin natural looking plus it gives an extra boost of SPF. 2. Everyone knows I love cupcakes all year round; however, in the summer time I crave them even more! 3. Maybelline's color whispers are basically tinted lip balms- perfect for a sun kissed fresh face look! 4. Frappuccino are my favorite from Starbucks since I don't like coffee! 5. Mineral bronzer helps give a natural glow especially if you already have a tan!

Classic Dinner
I'm going on an all ladies trip to Panama in April to celebrate my girlfriend's
up and coming nuptials. I've been thinking of different outfits to bring.

Halloween!!!
Happy Halloween! Today is such a fun day to dress up and be creative! With positive intensions of just enjoying the smiles on kids faces and yummy candy to eat our hearts out its no wonder people love this holiday! I had such an amazing time celebrating with my love ones this weekend!!! Sunday night I was “Barbie” at a Halloween party. Every year I always draw a blank when trying to pick my costume. I'm one to keep it simple but original. Looking at all the fun wigs in the store, I decided to be Barbie as she was my absolute favorite as a child! It was a great way show my creative side as I always love to do!!!
My Barbie essentials included: A blonde wig, a tiara and I made my cheeks rosey with some blue eye shadow!! I enjoyed being Barbie this Halloween! What were you this year? Hmm what are some ideas for next year? Here are some pics from my Halloween 2011!

I HEART SEQUINS!
SEQUINS make me smile :) As I been shopping around this holiday season looking for an awesome Christmas & New Years outfit, I notice that sequins are e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e and I'm not mad at about it! As long as it's done in good taste sequins can turn an OK outfit into an elegant ensemble. I just love the way it can give a great compliment to anything from a dress to shoes to accessories and simple outfits can really pop with the shiny texture! Making sure not to go overboard here are some tips I love to play around with...
My Sequin Philosophy!
- Dresses go great with simple shoes and accessories!
- Purses & shoes give a little extra to any little black dress!
- Accessories go great in your hair when wearing a sequin skirt or shoes or both!
- Tunics look hot with plain leggings!
- Even UGG is hooked on the sequins to add to any comfy outfit! (Also one of Oprah's Favorite Things)
