How to Wrap your Gift Perfectly!

Today's post is super exciting to me. I am a lover of giving and making things look great! I've always belived in everything you do, do it with a great presentation and that to me includes your gift giving. I love love love wrapping gifts and making them look extra special- it's just a natural skill I was born with :)

Below I'm going to show you hwo to wrap your gift(s) perfectly! Check it out below:

First thing you need to do is figure out how much paper you will need. A lot of wrapping paper now comes with lines on the back to help you out.  Once you meaure one side-repeat the other side.

To keep yourself organized, I feel it's easier to place a few dots on the back of the paper to remind you where to cut later.

Use the dots to guide you on a fresh clean cut- Repeat for other side as well.

Start with the left side and pull tightly so there is no air between your paper and your box. Then place a small piece of tape to keep the paper in place- Repeat for the other side.

Pull down the middle tightly (place a piece of tape to keep in place) and then fold the side corners so they are poited at the ends.

Now fold the pointed sides in and the bottom down. Make sure the bottom is nice and crisp.

Fold the bottom up and place a nice piece of tape to keep in place.

You now have a perfectly wrapped gift! Just add a bow, ribbon or anything creative to the top!

Here is a quick way to add a cute small ribbon for a small gift box like mine:

Place the box on top of the ribbon (shiny side facing down). Pull up and tie the ribbon tightly like you would tie your shoe laces.

Make a loop on one side of th ribbon and tie the left side around the right loop. You can also try the bunny ear method for bigger bows.

Pull tight! You can leave it like thos or...

Cut the ends to make it more even!

XOXO- Janeen
