Happy Mondays my followers and visitors! Last weekend was one of my closest friend’s wedding & I was so honored to be part of it. From helping her pick out her hall, to her dress to hours of putting her favors together I have to say I enjoyed every minute of it! In my post today I just wanted to share with her her unique fall favors that she gave to all her wedding guests. I think they were so original and will definitely NOT go to waste. She was lucky enough to know someone who worked for Godiva Chocolates (YUMMMMMMMMMM) so she got an amazing price on a box set of 2 pieces of delicious candy. On top of that she decided she wanted to be a little different and come up with some cute way of decorating the box. Most people use engraved ribbon but she wanted to intertwine her fall wedding décor into decorating the boxes. Below is a step-by-step instruction on making Fall Godivas:
Materials:
Godiva box
Paper name tags (already whole punched)
Fake fall leaves
Straw string
Glue gun
Glue gun glue
Scissors
Create:
- Place straw string through the hole in the name tag
- Wrap straw string around the left side of box and tie into a bow TIGHT!
- Glue gun 1 or as many as you like leaves in the corner of the left side, making sure to cover the hole
- Let dry & that’s all!
You can change up each both to make it different. Add 1 leaf to one box, 2 to the next, 3 to the next and so on. It’s an elegant way to create a fall look without over doing too much. Make sure to cut the edges of the string on an angle so you don’t cover the Godiva logo! Hope you enjoyed this quick wedding favor tip. Thanks for reading!!!
