Incoco Nail Designs!

Happy hump day!!! I'm finally back on my blog! Last friday one of my girlfriends did my nails for a birthday dinner with Incoco Nail Designs and they came out beautiful! I love getting my nails done but I'm not very good at keeping them looking great after the first 2 days. Its almost a week later and I have hardly any chipping! Awesome!! I also blogged before about the Sally Hansen designs which are my go to when I have an event and don't have time to get a manicure. Incoco's are a little easier to put on and they last a little longer from my experience. Overall, I'm a big fan of nail designs with no dry time!

Side note: Incoco is having a sale 20% off until Friday! Happy nails everyone!!

Beauty Tip: Clarisonic for pores!

Happy Friday!!! The weekend is almost here friends! Yay! I know I have been blogging more recipes lately so today I want to blog about a beauty tip that I love!!. One of my girlfriends introduced me to the Clarisonic Mia.

It is so true what they say, as you age your skin changes. Even though I'm only 26 my skin is very much different than when I was 16. I have or should I say "used" to have large pores that were noticable even with make-up and I had been looking for creams, masks & facials to shrink them. Now that I have the clarisonic I'm in total love with it! My pores significantly look smaller and my face is very soft. As far as price goes, it can be costly depending on where you buy it. It can range from $110-180. I am not one to splurge on beauty products on the regular but it is definently worth it. I found it on amazon for $114 with free shipping! Now if I can only discover something wonderful for dark circles!!! :)

Purchase tip:. Can't splurge on it yourself? Put it on your "Valentine's Day" list! ^_^

As always thanks for reading! Also if you haven't already joined my blog click on the "Follow Me" button & keep reading!

Salon Effects!

Hello followers!!! Hope everyone’s weekend was amazing! I definitely enjoyed spending time with my friends and family. Today I just wanted to give you an update on my continued obsession with Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects. In an earlier post I mentioned that one of my closest friends who has her own little side job doing the Nail strips, gave me a denim design to try out. I decided to try it out this weekend and I think I did a pretty good job; maybe a little more practice! :) It literally took me about 20 minutes & I received a lot of compliments!!! I love this new trend!!!

Check out the picture below! You can visit Sally Hansen website to see more designs.

Beauty Tips!

Happy Birthday Month to Maybelline!!! The make-p company turned 40 in August and in honor of their birthday month they have been throwing a bunch of birthday getaway prizes from their facebook page so don’t forget to like their page and check it out!

The reason I wanted to blog about makeup today was because I wanted to share some makeup tools that I don’t think everyone knows is available to the public. There have been times when I’m reading my awesome magazines and I wonder how I can create a make up look like the ones I love! The magazines usually give you tips on how to get the look but some people just don’t know how to do it. Sure there is Youtube but with millions of videos to choose from it can get really overwhelming. I discovered that a lot of our favorites make up brands’ websites will teach you off their website videos! Its amazing. Companies like Maybelline, L’Oreal & MAC. Maybelline has different eye looks to choose from, L'Oreal has amazing tutorials to figure out your skin type when trying to choose your perfect foundation or general make up choice and MAC has well EVERYTHING we love from eyes to lips to lashes and brushes!  Check out your favorite brand’s website to get some more in depth tips.

Stay tuned for some make up tutorials I’m dying to try out!

Crazy Fun Accessories!

New York Yankees!

I am beyond excited right now to blog about these amazing accessories I just discovered. I'm flipping through my awesome 'Instyle" magazine this month with the incredible looking Beyonce on the cover and I notice in a little corner of one page reads "Violent Lips!" At first, I thought it was different style lip sticks but to my surprise it read "temporarily lip tattoos." My immediate reaction is OUCH as the word "temporarily" did not register directly to my brain.

Curious though, I looked up Violent Lips online and I was mind boggled. From glitter to leopard to the New York Yankees, you can now officially decorate you lips. I can't believe it! I was super excited I went straight on Twitter & Facebook to show all my friends! And for following them on Twitter @violentlips I got 20% off! Can't wait to buy some and try them out so I can show you all what I think!

If you're curious like I was check out their website & don't forget to follow them on Twitter!

OK SKiNNY now has a Twitter page: @okskinny

Newest Trend: Nail Polish Strips

Sally Hansen style: SKINNY JEANS
Sally Hansen Designs

Ok I will admit I'm a sucker for new trends. So when my girl-friend introduced me to the Salon Effects nail strips I was so intreeged! Anything that has to do with pampering I"M IN!  After starting off as her little ginipig I fell in total L-O-V-E!  I decided to jump on board with her new found side business of this "Next Generation of Nail Polish"-Incoco. It's real nail polish with no drying time and the strips last anywhere from 10 to 3 weeks (depending on how well you take care of them). You can find them in any beauty stores. Sears even sells the Sally Hansen brand. Also check out the Incoco brand which have amazing new styles like crackle &glitter patterns.

If you're a lover of painting your nails give it a try. You can do them yourself or bring them in to the nail salons for an additional price. Live in theNew Jersey area? AWESOME email me at jsmilez18@yahoo.com and I'll hook you up!

Stay tuned for pics when I apply SKINNY JEANS style to my nails!
