Halloween Fun!

Summer has come and go and once again it's that time for that one day where you can be anyone and anything you want! From costume dressing up, to hunting for candy and partying with your friends, Halloween is an even more joyous occasion to have fun with! Believe it or not but I've noticed over the years that Halloween has turned from being affliated with evil acts to a more positive approach.

Growing up in a home where my mother wasn't fond of Halloween and the meaning behind it, she still always put me in my favoirte Angel costume with the pretty wings and allowed me to be a normal kid for the day! She even enjoyed going through my pillow cases of candy and picking out her own favoite ones to induge in. I will definiently miss that special old man who used to give all us kids a "silver dollar" instead of candy. Every Halloween, my brother and friends and I would run to his house first to make sure we got our coin before they ran out! To this day, I still have one!

So this Halloween I'm determined to make everyone notice the positive side of the day! Fun costumes, yummie candy and family and friend time! Watching the smiles on children's faces absolutely make it worth it! So be safe this October 31st, dress up, trick-or treat with a group of friends, check your candy before eating it and make the most out of being "someone or something else" for the day! :)
